We highly recommend booking your bridal gown appointment. We offer a variety of appointments to give each bride the experience and enjoyment she prefers!

While prom is walkin-in only, Mother of the bride appointments are available! Walk-ins for both prom and mother’s cannot be guaranteed due to existing appointments and daily scheduling.

Absolutely! Take as many pictures as you like.  If you post them to social media, please tag us!

We kindly ask that all guests remove their shoes upon arrival. Team Bride slides are available, or you’re welcome to bring your own slippers. We encourage all shoppers to wear undergarments they feel most comfortable in; however, underwear is required to try on dresses.

Masks are optional and based on each guest’s comfort level. If you would prefer your consultant to wear a mask, please let us know and we will be happy to accommodate.

We recommend bringing those who you'd like to share your "say yes" moment! We can safely seat the bride plus 3 guest in-store for our regular-sized suites or the bride plus 8 guests for an additional fee in our luxury suite. For all appointments, can have up to 10 virtual guests to join you via Zoom. Please see our Appointments page for details.

With special order or off the rack dresses, expect to need some alterations including hem. While we take measurements for special order dresses, this is to select the designer’s size that is closest to your size and our dresses are not made-to-measure. Expect to need alterations to make the dress fit your body shape, every person's body is different!

We don't have alterations on site but we work with highly skilled teams that we trust with this important task. Alterations is a separate process from The Gown shopping experience, but they are a necessary part. It is rare for our brides not to need any alterations after buying their wedding dress. When your beautiful dress arrives at our store, we'll help ensure a seamless transition (PUN INTENDED) to the alterations process, even though it's separate from our boutique. Typically, alterations take about 6-8 weeks and a few appointments- each alterations team will be different. The last alterations appointment is usually scheduled close to the wedding day to ensure the right fit for each brides body.

Our samples in store range from a size 2 – 26. The dresses we carry can be ordered in bridal sizes from 0 – 34, depending on each designer’s availability.

Of course! Many of our brides who say yes to the dress complete their bridal look at their first appointment. We have veils, belts, jewelry, and other accessories to help you make your look truly your own!

Within two weeks of placing your special order, we will reach out to you with an estimated delivery date. This date will be within the order timeline mentioned above. It’s a great date to circle on the calendar to look forward to!

We understand the importance of respecting your budget. Our wedding dress collection ranges in price from $1699-$5000+. Most of our wedding dresses fall under the $2000-$2500 range. Our prom dresses start at $250, and mother of the bride styles begin at $400, with a variety of options available across different price points.

We do not provide in-house gown cleaning or preservation services, but we can gladly suggest trusted specialists upon request.
